PLANETSCAPER
Game Summary
PlanetScaper is a 3D platform game that challenges players problem-solving skills, timing and piloting, as they routinely test a rocket among a ever changing planets landscape.
Players have to get a ship from the launch pad to the landing pad without hitting any obstacles. There are 12 levels of varying difficulty.
Game Controls on Desktop:
- A - Rotate Left
- D-Rotate Right
- Spacebar to activate boosters.
- ESC or close the browser window to quit the game.
Project summary
This started off as a tutorial project I had to do in Godot to learn the engine.
I went ahead and built 11 more levels because I wanted to get use to level design in Godot for 3D games and made up a basic menu with a title, just so players don't go straight to the first level on startup.
Please let me know if you experience any bugs as I am still learning Godot and want to take on feedback where I can to improve the games I make with it.
I still have a lot more to learn and have decided to move on to other projects in the meantime to make other games.
